NoteSheet for Gmail – Privacy Policy

Data we collect and process

NoteSheet for Gmail lets you attach notes to Gmail conversations. When you use the extension, we process:

How your data is used

This data is used solely to store and display your notes. No data is used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any other purpose.

Where your data is stored

Your notes are stored in a Google Sheet located in your own Google Drive account, created and controlled by you. The extension accesses this sheet through Google’s Sheets and Drive APIs using OAuth 2.0 with limited permissions (drive.file scope).

Who we share data with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data is transmitted only to Google (via Google’s Sheets, Drive, and OAuth services) and is stored in your own Drive. We operate no third-party servers and collect or transmit no data to third parties.

Permissions used

The extension requests access to your Google account only to read and write your notes spreadsheet in your own Drive. OAuth tokens are managed by Chrome’s secure token cache and are never handled by the extension itself.

Your choices

Your notes are stored in a spreadsheet in your own Google Drive, so you remain in control of them. Deleting the extension’s spreadsheet from your Drive deletes your stored notes. Revoking the extension’s Google account access (via your Google Account permissions page) also stops it from accessing your Drive. Uninstalling the extension stops any future data collection.
